At night we ask at a temple to stay overnight. The monks offer us a place for our tent in front of all the Buddha statues. The climate inside the tent is horrible, we suffer a lot to be mosquito free.
Looks like a German town sign. I think the name of the town was “Unterschwaningen” or something. 😉
The next night we end up in a temple again. This time we get a own small room for us and a fan.
The Thai cows are quite different from our European cows. Their ears are extremely big.
Central Thailand is so flat and has rice fields everywhere.
Our favorite fruit in Southeast Asia is definitely the pineapple.
A young lady, called Apple, has a small café beside a gas station, where we have a good coffee. She is finally one person, who speaks a little bit of english, so that we can talk a bit.
The third night in a row we stay in a temple. Again we sleep in front of all the Buddha statues. Every temple has so many animals. The cats play with a big bug and really like us. To be save from the mosquitos we set up the tent. Sadly the small cats want to play with little stuff hanging on our tent. Too bad, they try to scratch it. No way, we have to built down the tent again, it’s too dangerous that they could harm the tent. And we have to sleep with mosquitoes or with a loud or strong fan.
After some adventures unplanned overnights stays we are looking forward to meet Chris from warmshowers and have a nice place to rest in Tapan Hin. On our way we see a big tree. The dead of the King is still on the spot everywhere. In Tapan Hin we get a own room and decide to rest some days.
We enjoy good food, for example sticky rice packed in banana leafs, very ecological, or papaya salat.
Chris takes us far away with his car to find a cave, but unfortunately we don’t find it and in the end we were driving around too long just sitting in a car and not even walking around in the area with the nice rocks. The last evening we let fly a heaven’s light.
Fresh and relaxed we start cycling towards Wien and find a big nice pomelo. Bananas and rice fields are everywhere.
